A Veteran Of Four Space Flights,
EILEEN COLLINS logged over 872 hrs in Space.
She became d *1st Woman to Pilot a Space Shuttle* wen she flew aboard STS-63 Discovery in 1995, d 1st flight of d Russian American Space Programme.
Collins earned d dual distinction of commanding a space shuttle STS-93, in 1999.
She retired frm NASA in May 2006 & d following yr became a director of USAA whch provides insurance , o.l banking n finacial advice 2 America's Millitary families.

In 1962, JOHN GLENN, Jr. Piloted d Mercury-Atlas 6 Friendship 7 Spacecraft, becøming d *1st American* Ørbit d Earth.
After resigning frm NASA in 1964, n retiring frm d U.S Marine Corps in 1965, Glenn was a business executive until his election as senator frm Ohio in 1974.
Aftr a brief stint as Governør 2 fill a vacancy, he was reelected to d Senate & continued until his retirement in 1999.
At 77, Glenn returned 2 space as payload specialist aboard Discovery in 1998.

he 1st Flew into space aboard Gemini 3 in 1965 & landed on d moon during d 1972 Apollo 16 Missiøn.
He also flew d 1st space shuttle.
Young launched into space Six Times, 7 counting his liftoff frm d Moon to return 2 Earth.
He was Chief of d Astronaut Office frm 1974 to 1987, wid responsibility for coordinating n scheduling activities of d astronauts.
In 1996, Young became associate technical director responsible for operational n saftey oversight at d Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas.
He retired frm NASA in 2004.
